Here you will find daily tour plan suggestions. You can use that page to decide about your daily tour routes. The places are just listed, you can get detail information from the “What to See” page.
One Day: Old Istanbul Tour

   Sultanahmet district is known as Old Istanbul, Constantinople and Ottomon Empire was settled at that area therefore most of the historical places are located there. One day may not be enough to see all the places listed above so you can see some of them on one day and if you have time you can see the rest on other days.

 

One Day: Bosporus Tour
Dolmabahçe Palace
Rumeli Fortress
Ortaköy
Yıldız Palace

Tea beside the Bosporus
   You can start your tour from Kabataş and you can see Dolmabahçe Palace. Then you can take a bus to Rumeli Fortress, after Rumeli Fortress you can get to Ortaköy and you can eat Kumpir and Gözleme there, Ortaköy is famous with its Kumpir and Gözleme shops. You can also take Bosporus Boat Tour at Ortaköy and enjoy your Kumpir or Gözleme on the boat. After the tour you can get to Beşiktaş and if you want you can see Yıldız Palace and Naval Museum and you can have a cup of tea or beer beside the Bosporus.

 

One Day: İstiklal Avenue and Karaköy Tour

Tophane Nargile		   You can have a walk on the İstiklal Avenue or take the Nostalgia Tram. In the middle of the İstiklal Avenue you can visit
St. Antuan Church, then you can go to Galata Tower. Then you can take a taxi to go to Miniaturk. Afterwards you can go to Karaköy, you can go to Karaköy Güllüoğlu Baklava Shop to try baklava. To rest you can go to a cafe or restaurant on the Galata Bridge or first you can go to Tophane to smoke nargile and have tea or coffee then go to Galata Bridge for some drinks.

 

One Day: Princes’ Islands Tour
Heybeliada - Büyükada
   During sunny days Princes’ Islands are great, Princes’ Islands Tour will probably take your whole day. The boats to Islands depart from Kabataş. Heybeliada and Büyükada are the touristic islands. You can go to Heybeliada and then you can get to Büyükada. At both islands you can rent a bike and see around, you can take a phaeton tour. There are several fish restaurants at Büyükada you can have Fish and Rakı as dinner. In Turkey mostly people drink Rakı with Fish.

 

One Day: Anatolian Side Tour

Maiden’s Tower
Kadıköy Balloon
   To pass to Anatolian Side, you should take a boat from Eminönü, Kabataş or Beşiktaş to Üsküdar or Kadıköy. It is recommended to take a boat from Kabataş or Beşiktaş to Üsküdar. Then you should go to Çamlıca Hill, from the hill to Kanlica and Çengelköy. Afterwards you can go to Üsküdar to see the Maiden's Tower. Then from Üsküdar you can go to Kadıköy and after taking the balloon or seeing arround you should take a boat back to European side from Kadıköy.
